Job Description
IBM Global Business Services currently has immediate opportunities for experienced Business Analytics and Optimization (BAO) Consultants in: BAO Strategy, Business Intelligence and Performance Management, Advanced Analytics and Optimization, Enterprise Information Management, and Enterprise Content Management Initiatives.

IBM's BAO Consultants are responsible for translating challenges into process or technical solutions, all while managing client relationships. Successful candidates will have demonstrated past experience and expert-level knowledge in at least one of the following areas: Advanced Analytics (SPSS, SAS), (Business Intelligence (Cognos); Business Rules (iLOG); Data Integration (AbInitio, Informatica or DataStage); Data Modeling (Erwin); Master Data Management (MDM); Solution Architecture; or Teradata.

Note Regarding Travel: IBM is employing an in-bound delivery model in Columbus, OH where we will support primarily Columbus based clients from our center. Some travel is expected and all candidates must be willing and able to travel to meet our client needs. Travel is typically related to client meetings. During start up, we could see several months up front (Monday thru Thursday).

Required:

• At least 2 years experience in Business Analytics or Optimization (e.g., BI, ETL, MDM, SPSS, SAS, etc.)
• English: Fluent

Preferred:

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 2 years experience in professional services or consulting
• At least 2 years experience in BAO tools, such as Teradata, WCC, Siperian, Informatica, Ab Initio, Datastage, SAS, SPSS or Cognos
