Breast cancer cells and lymph nodes?

Breast cancer cells and lymph nodes?
Do cancer cells originate in the breast and metastasize to other portions of the body by using the lymph glands as a mode of transportation?
Right or wrong, could you expand a bit for me?
Also, what breast cells become cancerous? Glandular (milk) cells? Adipocytes?

Answer by Aisling M
Yes, they break through the lining of lymph glands, get into the fluid and hence get around the body. the cells settle in another organ, where they grow to form secondary tumours.
Usually it is the epithilial cells that become cancerous, though others can as well.
