So I made this account a million years ago (or two) and then never did anything with it. Well, since getting the lovely message about how you guys are changing things up, I remembered you existed and decided to poke around. (yes, mods, it's true- spam emails work sometimes! :o ) I've always really liked the idea of roleplaying, and did a smattering of it when I was really young (neopets, anyone? gaia online?) but none since. I'm hoping I can glom onto a ragtag bunch of youngsters who won't mind my shortcomings.
First thing, I realize my username does not allow for many easy shortenings. Tasty? Snoz? WHAT WILL YOU CALL ME?! It's not going to be pretty. I thought it was cute at the time. Oh, if you didn't know it's a reference to Charlie and the Chocolate factory. I always liked that bit.
2) How'd you find this place? Google? Why'd you look it up on Google or whatever?
I have no idea how I found this site. At all. It's lost to the mists of time. Actually, that's a lie. I probably googled it.
3) How long have you roleplayed on forums or chat? On what sites? Did you start with tabletop games or such?
Oh hey, it looks like I inadvertently answered these questions in my introduction already. Do I win a prize?
4) In coming to RPG, what've you been looking for specifically? A new home for roleplay? Better roleplay?
... any roleplay? something small that I can work with. I've seen the main page of roleplays, you guys are way above my league. so cool! The few times I roleplayed before I destinctly remember a problem in not being able to find a character that melded with the plot. I think a decade later I might have a better inkling, but WHO KNOWS.
5) What kinds of roleplay are you interested in? Fantasy? Sci-fi? Go in-depth about it if you want.
I think fantasy or sci-fi would both be really interesting. That way, there's magic or at least significantly-advanced-technology to mess with. I'm in the middle of A Dance with Dragons right now (of Game of Thrones fame) and I love it. The characters! The plot! The plot within plot! The cultures! The magic! The religion! The setting! The ice-zombies! (always important) When I saw that there was an rp about it, I jumped at the bit. I think I'd rather start out fresh with a new thread, though, something where the tangle of plot hasn't gotten too unwieldy.
I really have no characters in mind. That is a flaw. I'm not really a writer, in that definition of being born with a pen and a need to write stories. This will be a stretch of my imaginative muscles.
6) What're your hobbies? Do you collect rocks or mount insects?
This is probably an old joke, but mounting insects?! you disgust me, sir.

Well, I started playing dungeons and dragons! It's really fun. It's like a videogame except all of the NPCs talk. And you can do whatever you want! Sort of like roleplaying? perhaps? If you are not convinced: a few weeks ago I got a Bag of Tricks, which lets me pull out a tiger. or a bear. or maybe a FREAKING RHINOCEROS. How is that not the best thing? (note: I tend to hyperbolate. is that a word? what is that word, to hyperbolize? IDK)
Also: I go to philosophy club! I'm really proud of this. I like philosophy a lot. Thinking about stuff. moral issues. dude.... what if we didn't exist. No. I mean, like seriously. Going to philosophy club is actually pretty frightening. These people are like monks- they've given up everything in their quest to enlightenment. There is a guy who does not believe in SPACIAL RELATIONSHIPS. How does that happen? Answer me.
7) What's something you're good at besides writing? Maybe you're on the volleyball team or you're a quick learner? Maybe you play the flute or can fold up chairs amazingly fast? xD
I'm good at logic, at least so far. I was really worried because I've loved the philosophy classes I had, but then what if I hated logic? That's like the root of all philosophy. but no! It's the best.
8) Do you have any friends here at RPG that invited you here? Would you want to make more friends while you're here?

PS: Okay, looking through my post I'm noticing all of these fractured sentences and incorrect grammatical phrases. I started a sentence with And. You guys will probably hate me. Maybe just pretend that I am a character and that this is a transcript of my speech, with all of the grammar problems intact for realism.
